July 26, 2024 –The Fifth Trooper unfortunately has to announce that Legion HQ will no longer be supported or developed further. This was a decision that we did not come to lightly and we know it will be a difficult transition for our users.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Nick, the creator and dev of Legion HQ, for his tireless dedication and hard work in creating and maintaining this valuable tool for our community.

Since its inception, Legion HQ has been an integral part of many players’ experiences, helping them to build lists for play and dream about future lists they’d like to play.

We are incredibly grateful to all the users who have supported and utilized Legion HQ, making it a staple in the Legion community.

While we will no longer be providing updates or support, Legion HQ will remain in its current form for one month to allow players time to save their lists or participate in legacy rules events.

Thank you once again for all your support of legion HQ over the years.

Fans can look forward to new and exciting projects from The Fifth Trooper as we continue to explore the expansive world of tabletop gaming.

  1. Did the prospect of having to totally overhaul it for the lame new not new edition edition factor in to this decision?

    1. I am interested in the answer to this question. I also wonder if this is indicative of The Fifth Trooper beginning to move away from/lose interest or faith in Legion?

      1. This decision was made before Ministravaganza and is not related to the new edition. Fifth Trooper is going to continue generating content for Legion.

    1. Legion Quick Guide will still be supported, it’s just taking a bit as there are so many changes.

  2. Well huh, that is a bit of a bummer. Been using Legion HQ since its inception.

Is Legion Quick Guide ceasing updates as well?

  3. Will it be possible for the list builder to go open source or remain as it is and not receive updates? As a way to support those who prefer legion 1st edition.

    1. That’s an excellent question. Would be great if there are guys who can pick up that great work that went into the list builder.

  4. Thanks for this great tool you provided for players all around the world. We will deeply miss it. If you consider to provide it as open source or another community it would be a relief for many of us, I guess.
